Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with expansion responsibility across Africa)

Compensation: ₦3,500,000 Monthly (Net After Tax)

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to drive revenue growth, enterprise sales expansion, and cross-border market penetration across Africa.

This role is commercially driven and performance-focused. The CEO will:

  • Lead large-scale enterprise technology sales engagements

  • Secure high-value digital transformation and SaaS contracts

  • Establish strategic industry and government partnerships

  • Build and scale a high-performance business development organization

  • Position the company as a leading enterprise digital transformation provider in Africa

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong executive market access, enterprise credibility, and the ability to close significant technology deals within Nigeria and across African markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic & Corporate Leadership

  • Define and execute Nigeria and Africa growth strategy

  • Drive corporate vision, long-term revenue strategy, and market positioning

  • Identify high-value enterprise opportunities and priority sectors

  • Develop structured entry strategies into new African markets

  • Ensure alignment between sales, delivery, and operational functions

2. Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Lead enterprise SaaS, fintech, and digital transformation sales initiatives

  • Close major enterprise and government contracts

  • Develop and manage a strong qualified sales pipeline

  • Establish strategic client partnerships and framework agreements

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth across Nigeria and expansion markets

3. Business Development & Market Access

  • Leverage executive network to access C-level decision-makers

  • Build strategic relationships across:

    • Government institutions

    • Financial services organizations

    • Telecom operators

    • Large corporate enterprises

    • Multinational companies

    • Regional African organizations

  • Open new revenue channels and partnerships

4. Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales and business development team

  • Establish performance-driven KPIs and accountability systems

  • Foster a results-oriented and ethical corporate culture

  • Provide executive mentorship to senior managers

  • Drive operational excellence across commercial functions

5. Africa Market Expansion

  • Identify priority African markets for entry

  • Lead structured go-to-market execution

  • Represent the company at industry forums and strategic engagements

  • Develop local partnerships in target countries

6. Executive Engagement & Deal Negotiation

  • Present enterprise technology solutions to C-level executives and public sector leaders

  • Lead complex negotiations for high-value transformation contracts

  • Structure strategic alliances and commercial agreements

  • Secure scalable, long-term enterprise contracts

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience

  • 18–20 years of experience in:

    • Enterprise software sales

    • Fintech / SaaS solutions

    • Technology consulting

    • Digital transformation solutions

    • Enterprise technology deployment

  • Demonstrated track record of closing large enterprise technology deals

  • Experience leading senior-level business development teams

  • Strong executive presence and board-level engagement experience

  • Deep understanding of Nigerian and African enterprise ecosystems

  • Knowledge of public and private sector procurement frameworks

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage

CRITICAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT (MANDATORY)

The successful candidate must:

  • Resume with at least one active enterprise deal already at advanced negotiation stage OR

  • Demonstrate the ability to close a major enterprise deal within one (1) month of assuming office.

This is a non-negotiable requirement and reflects expected executive-level market influence and immediate revenue impact.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Monthly Salary:
₦3,500,000 (Net After Tax)

  • Secure major enterprise deals within first 30–90 days

  • Launch entry strategy into at least one additional African market

  • Strengthen brand positioning within fintech and enterprise digital ecosystem
