Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 Monthly (Gross)

As part of our growth strategy, we seek a diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts & Administration Officer to support our financial, administrative, and operational processes.
This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a structured manufacturing environment and can effectively combine finance and administrative responsibilities.
Job Summary
The Accounts & Administration Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting cost and inventory tracking, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing administrative support across office, showroom, and workshop operations. The role requires strong bookkeeping skills, operational coordination ability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting & Financial Support
1. Financial Operations & Bookkeeping

Process customer invoices, supplier bills, and expense claims.

Manage accounts receivable, including issuing statements and following up on outstanding payments.

Support accounts payable to ensure timely vendor settlement.

Perform daily financial data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.

Record and reconcile general ledger entries in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Reconciliation & Record Management

Conduct periodic bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.

Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation of disbursements.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical accounting records.
3. Payroll & Month-End Support
-
Support payroll preparation and documentation.

Assist with basic month-end closing processes and financial schedules.
4. Financial Reporting & Analysis
-
Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial summaries.

Support financial reporting for internal decision-making.
-
Assist with inventory record-keeping and stock reconciliation.
5. Cost & Inventory Support (Manufacturing Focus)

Monitor raw material usage and assist in tracking production costs.

Support documentation for inventory and materials tracking.

Assist in maintaining proper stock valuation and reconciliation records.
6. Compliance & Audit Support

Support statutory remittances including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory obligations.

Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings and annual audits.

Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
B. Administrative & Operational Support

Serve as first point of contact for calls, emails, and walk-in visitors.

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

Provide administrative support to management, showroom, and workshop operations.

Manage office supplies and coordinate service vendors.

Assist with order processing and client communication.

Support documentation for inventory and materials tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
-
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

NYSC completion is mandatory.
Experience
-
Minimum of 2–4 years relevant accounting experience.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
-
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).

Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage (or willingness to learn).
Professional Competencies

Good understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) in view or in progress is an added advantage.
Working Conditions
